Loss of Media volume

Suddenly lost all volume from the speakers today. I tried everything I could think of to get it back to no avail. Made an appointment at the dealer for Monday. Also, yesterday it let me lock the car with the fob even though my wife's key was in the car. This never happened before. It also has never had a nav update. It will not read a thumb drive and the dealer has tried on several occasions as well. They promised to try to find the issue but never phoned back after 3 months.

Did you try pushing the head unit pinhole reset button for 30 seconds? Also a hard reset by pulling (and checking) fuse.
Updating seems to have helped as well.

Thanks for the help, I really appreciate it. I just tried it again and everything works fine so I cancelled my appointment. It may have something to do with my wife's phone, more research is required. I don't know anything about a pinhole reset button, but updating is not possible.
