Since Clarity is getting harder to find outside of California...
With the GM tax credits about to drop again, dealers know this and are interested in moving remaining Volts off their lot. You could be able to get $10k or more discount if you find a 2019 Volt that you want. I traded my 2012 Volt for a new one and got a pretty good trade in and about $11.5k discount on a $36.5k MSRP. Without considering trade, the price of the car was $25k plus tax minus the $3750 tax credit or about $22.5k net after tax and being able to take tax credit in 2020.
