I disagree with Kyle and Tom about the Tesla standard vs CCS-x:

• Teslas SuperChargers are vastly more reliable than anything else
• Tesla plug and cable is technologically superior to the Franken-plug
  • less weight (for smaller people)
  • simpler
  • less material
  • F*CKIN' WORK!

So you two really want a government mandate for a technologically inferior plug technology? They could choose CHAdeMO to make the disaster complete.

Suggestion, find the designers of CCS-1 and CCS-2 and make them wear one around their neck ... "The Rime of the Ancient Mariner." To call it a kludge is to bring disrespect to what a kludge should be.
