Kona EV owners in California, where do you put your HOV stickers?

Hello, just got my HOV stickers. Even though it came with instructions for the placement of the stickers on the bumpers, the Kona EV's bumper arch on the right and left side is just so short. So, I am asking where along the bumper side do you guys put your stickers? If I have to put the stickers really high on the bumper's left and right side, it will appear realy ugly. Suggestions?
 
Yes, I put mine high up on the bumpers gray area and they do look ugly, especially purple on a red car. Now I can't reposition them :(
