So I have mental block. Tell me in the simplest terms My trip was 500 kms and it says below it.
6.1kms/kwh Now if the figure was higher is that better or do you want it to be lower.
So is higher better or lower better I cant seem to grasp this..thanks in advance..

You want to get more km per kWh, right? So more is better, as in miles per gallon.

To confuse things, the usual measure of economy in metric is kWh/100 km. In that case lower is better.
