I've noticed that when my key is cold it does not work wirelessly anymore. Maybe the fob battery? This happens after it's in my pocket for a few hours in winter weather. The work-around for now is to use the mechanical key to open the door (setting off the alarm) and holding the fob next to the start button to start the car (silencing the alarm).
Anyone know how to change the fob battery and which battery it uses? I would prefer to DIY the battery change and avoid the stealership. Sorry if this has been covered before but search did not yield a useful result for me.
