Perhaps people googled and found the Prologue Drivers forum first, then didn't search any further. I'm glad the chicken-vs-egg conundrum worked out for the Clarity PHEV and MINI Electric forums here. I believe if a lot of InsideEVs forum members were switching from other EVs to a Prologue, the Prologue forum here would have had a built-in constituency.

I hoped Honda would bring the Honda e to North America, but North America wants SUVs not cars. So Honda got Chevy to build them an SUV EV to sell here. I can't blame Honda; the cute little e was too expensive for Europe, so it was a guaranteed fail on this side of the pond. It's gone now.

That said, I'm still curious about what questions you have, even though I can't answer them. Also, how long have you had your Prologue and how do you like it? It's ironic that the Chevy-made Prologue is better than the Chevy on which it's based.

I have it only for one day. Sitting back in service now - CV joints clicking on turns, google says common issue for Prologue.
Built quality of Clarity - you can't compare it to Prologue, way way better. I wish Honda built it themselves, but well..
Ride quality is definitely better in Prologue - bigger car, better suspension. Infotainment system is a complete disaster - in this department Tesla is still light years ahead. But - physical buttons! you can't beat real buttons you can touch and feel :)
People from Honda have no idea about that car (just like they were clueless about Clarity years ago).
Came without level 1 EVSE - nobody here knows if it should have one, is there a checklist to check, and should or should not they provide me one.
What else is missing - who knows, all I got is emergency repair kit/pump.
 
Some update for nobody who are here-
service confirmed that CV axle to be replaced, backordered, will take months.
service ordered "a portable charger" for me, it arrived and surprised me - unlike the one that came with Clarity (110v/15a, one plug) (i know it could handle 220) - this one has two plugs, 110/220 AND it is 30A!

In your opinion, what makes the Chevy-made Prologue, which is apparently developing a reputation for failed CV joints upon delivery and for which there are no available repair parts, “better than the Chevy on which it’s based”.
 
Piping in maybe where its not desired: There have been some surveys published. I think the "ironic" mention has to do with Prologue getting higher marks than the Chevy that it is similar to.

My other hobby is cellular phones. I always think its funny when an MVNO (mobile virtual network operator) gets better marks than the OEM. For example, Cricket Wireless is a reseller of AT&T mobile service. Consistently, Critcket gets higher marks, but they ride on the same network. Likely due to better perceived customer service. Sorry in advance for the off-topic allusion.

I meant to write "better-selling," which, of course only means that more customers voted with their dollars that the Prologue is better than the Blazer EV.

Honestly no idea. I just never really considered myself to be a Chevy owner. Yes, would be great if Honda made a normal EV, but well, universe is not fair. Next time, next car.
(btw, will have to google now if Chevy Blazer have the same issues with CV joints, or it somehow specific to his ******* sister Prologue)

Are you suggesting that higher sales volume means the vehicle is “better”? Or that getting more “votes” …

McDonalds sells more burgers than the local burger joint downtown. Is the McDonalds burger “better”?

Sure, the Prologue had higher sales volume than the Blazer. Honda also offered generous incentives and an attractive lease option on the Prologue. Combined, the Blazer and Equinox, had greater sales volume than the Prologue, and the Equinox wasn’t widely available until mid-year.

Maybe wireless Car Play makes the Prologue better for some, while the price point of the Equinox makes it a better choice for others. Just looking at sales volume is a peculiar way to evaluate quality.

That’s your interpretation. My interpretation of “better-selling” is that it only means that more cars were sold than a comparable vehicle. That’s a limited amount of data, with which of course, we can make any number of assumptions.

I had to google about Blazer - "The software provides easy access to popular apps such as Spotify, Waze, and Google Maps, but Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity are not offered". Very stupid I think, Tesla can afford it maybe, but Chevy?
But I did not know that Prologue has wireless carplay - went through settings, can't find anything helpful. Have to research more.

I read one review that compared the Blazer and Prologue. It stated that the Blazer did not have wireless CarPlay. The article did not say that the stereo was not CarPlay compatible. Perhaps it is not.

Wired CarPlay predates the wireless version and many operators find the experience superior to the wireless version. It is also a cost cutting alternative that allows manufacturers to provide the feature, albeit at tremendous inconvenience to the owner.

Honda does make a normal EV, at least as a joint venture, the
Honda e:Ny1
They just don't sell it in the USA. See
And many other stories.
