Increasing following distance in SCC

Hi, I'm trying to maximize my following distance when using SCC. I have it set to 'traffic is moving faster', and have 4 bars on the display, but feel like I'm still following too close (slightly less that 2 sec from a fixed object). Does anyone have thoughts on this? Thanks, Jay

I feel comfortable with 3 bars in dry conditions, 4 bars in wet. I believe there is a setting in the driver assist menu for adjusting following distance...,

There is a setting under driver assistance for SCC Reaction Time, which I have set to "Fast."
