Motor noise, battery fires and niggling software failures that don't merit so much as a Press release from Hyundai/KIA USA prompted the CR missive.

It's my suspicion that the Kona/Niro platform was a low volume test case (or stopgap product) for the EGMp rollout.

The car is more than adequate.

Hyundai or KIA support is inevident. A great warranty that cannot be enforced by the owner isn't a warranty - it's a marketing ploy.
