Hyundai Ioniq 6 delayed by months

According to a report in the Korea Economic Daily, Hyundai Ioniq 6 production is being pushed back by two or three months. If accurate, the reasons may (or may not!) be appreciated by customers.

Besides a little redesign work, which may change front and rear bumpers (including an addition of grille-area lighting) and headlights, the report claims it will now get the bigger 77.4-kWh battery that the US Ioniq 5 gets, and thus, more range.

Hyundai Mobis recently showed off its LED grill tech (below). Hopefully in the Ioniq 6 it will be a little more subtle.
