How to prevent EV cables from theft?

I just leased a Chevy Volt 2018. I'm hoping by now, there are some clever ways to prevent theft of charge cords. What are people doing to prevent theft?

A lot of J1772 charging connectors have a small hole at the base of the latch

Thanks Rick. I just saw that on my cable this morning in the light of day. Isa small padlock like that reliable enough to at least deter someone?
