I'm trying to understand the options for a digital speed display on my 2020 EV.

Here's what I think the manual is offering:
  • Speed displays digitally in the center of the analog speedometer, but not in Normal drive mode. (Why not, Hyundai?)
  • Can select speed display in the Trip Computer area, but not at the same time as navigation information.
  • Can display a smaller sub speedometer in the center of the analog speedometer, but only in km/h, not mph. (Why not, Hyundai?)
Do I have this right?

Is the 2021 any different?

(I have a HUD but am turning it off temporarily to see if I could get along without it on a 2022.)

It's because the outer "ring" display in sports and eco mode display power and eco-power. That's why they have digital speed displayed. In normal the speed is on that outer scale, so no digital speed.

So there is a reason why, but is it perfect? Well ...
