Bought mine on 6/28 and so far, I have put about 4500 miles on it.. Will go on a road trip on Friday and add another 500, so by the weekend, I will be over 5000 miles.
What about you all?
What about you all?
I drive an unusual amount of miles per year. I average about 30000 miles/50000 km per year..We got it on the same day (same colour too). But i only have 2000 km on it haha

You could almost walk that...Bought mine on 7/6 and only have 520 miles. My daily commute to work is only 3.5 miles each way![]()
Given the traffic and number of red lights, I could probably get there faster by walking. You could almost walk that...![]()
I have never lived closer than 7 miles from my office. Funny thing is that when I lived within 7 miles of my office, my commute took longer than my current 23.8 mile commute (21 mile Highway).. Right now, I have 1 single traffic light in those 23.8 miles to work while I had 20 lights within the 7 miles I used to drive to work.Given the traffic and number of red lights, I could probably get there faster by walking.![]()
i got mine 4 days earlier than you an have 6230kms or 3871 miles.. i havent gone on any long drives in the past two week like i have every other weekendBought mine on 6/28 and so far, I have put about 4500 miles on it.. Seems like you also drive a lot.. I drive an unusual amount of miles each year. That's why an electric car is perfect for me and so far, the Kona is functioning flawless..i got mine 4 days earlier than you an have 6230kms or 3871 miles.. i havent gone on any long drives in the past two week like i have every other weekend
That makes it really worth it..12,037 km since January 30,2019. We live out of town and this car is saving us a fortune, love it.
Wow, that's pretty good. In summer, we tend to drive our ICE vehicle more (to our cabin), and we recently did a 3300 km road trip with it. Would have used the Kona, but no EV fast charging stations up in northern BC.We got ours May 2, and it has almost 10,000km on it. We were only able to find it as a demo with almost 1500km on it, so basically we put close to 8500km on it.
I would drive it every single day but want to keep the mileage down and try to maximize the warranty.
I could never lease a car as my fees for extra miles would be insane.I bought mine on 5/22/19 and have about 2500 miles on it. My commute to work is 17 miles each way.
My lease allows 12,000 miles per year for three years, so I'm trying to keep it at 1,000 miles per month or less. That give me some extra miles beyond my commute, for weekends, etc.
My previous car (a Ford Fusion Enegi) had a three year lease with a 32,000 mile limit. I went about 15,000 miles over and ended up paying $0.20 per mile at the end of the lease. We took several long road trips from San Diego to Mendocino and that added a lot of extra miles. Easier to do with a plug-in hybrid than a pure EV because there was no range anxieties.
Very similar to what I'm getting with the AC on..5000 miles in 5 months. Average 4.6miles per kw.
I think you meant to write "4.6 miles per kWh."5000 miles in 5 months. Average 4.6miles per kw.
