HOV stickers hack

I don't want to permanently attach the stickers to the car because I don't want to deal with the mess of removing and potential paint unevenness issue in a couple of years. I found the magnetic sheet hack online but it looks like it won't work with our cars. Anyone here found a good way to have the stickers be removable? Thanks in advance.

I use the magnets. You can’t put them in the exact place that the state prescribes but I doubt you’ll get pulled over for that.

You can get a 3M PPF precut for the stickers (all 4 CA ones). Stick the HOV sticker to the film, then the film to the car. Works great (although I have yet to remove them).
They flipped the orientation of the logo in 2022 so you need to make sure you buy the right one for your stickers.

I've been using clean-clings for the last 3 EVs and they work for me. Easy to peel off and stays on even when spraying the decal with a water hose and spray nozzle.
