HondaLink stopped working after latest iOS update

This is about the latest app update v4.4.4. I’ve been on iOS 14.7.1 for a while now.

Got promoted to update the app yesterday and I did.

Surely enough, the update doesn’t work at all. Deleted the app, installed it again and logged in but it’s not communicating with the car.

called in car support ant they added a ticket. They suggested I do a factory data reset but I’m sure this drastic measures won’t fix a bad update.

Anyone else with the same problem?

Had the same problem. Filed a ticket, had no answer but a few hours and a trip later it worked.
 
Gotta admit the app is the worst part about this car experience. They really have shown no interest in making it even remotely user friendly, never mind best in class...
