ps. There is a role for ‘talking heads’ to explain why each technical feature is significant. But that lesson plan should be designed, not ad hoc. It will probably take 3x longer and should be in a series of topic specific YouTube videos.
pps. I started a thread to discuss from the Tesla stream what it all means. Feel free to add your thoughts. Of course there will be plenty of others commenting on what their takeaways were.
- Wrapped rotor for very high rpm and top speed 200 mph
- Solved back-EMF so power line is flat at high speed
- Improved cooling so back to back runs do not need a cool down
- Higher efficiency heat pump and capacity for cold weather performance and comfort
- Very low coefficient of drag, 0.206 (?)
- Added 30 Superchargers this week and plans to increase peak charging power above 250 kW
