On top of the GPS directions not being great (i.e. it picks "scenic routes") I frequently notice that the actual location shown on the map is totally off even after I have been driving for sometime. For example, was driving in downtown Seattle the other day and it showed me driving in one of the lakes instead of on a road. I have also noticed that frequently it loses the direction that the car is pointing (i.e. I am driving North and it suddenly thinks I am going West) and re-routes based on that inaccurate information (this happens most often when I am stopped at a light).
These issues make the GPS/Navigation close to unuseable on the car as it is constantly re-routing me.
Anyone else have this problem or know if the new map update available also fixes GPS triangulation?
Looking forward to iOS12 so I can just use Google Maps/Waze
