For all my friends in Texas who bought an EV or PHEV

Can you please tell me if there is any state (Tx) incentive for getting an EV or PHEV like the Clairty? A friend of mine heard me mentioning getting the Clarity and she has no idea there is any benefit (she lives in Houston) like the federal $7500 tax credit nor any state benefit.

I understand there was a $2500 Texas rebate in the 2014-2015 time frame, is that still available? Is there any other benefit getting a Clarity in Texas like HOV lane sticker?

What kind of discount from retail price can she get in Houston? Thanks
 
I don't remember the exact number now but I purchased a Touring from Community Honda in Baytown for somewhere around $35k compared to $37,490 MSRP.

And yes there is a $2500 rebate that was just started again as of May 31 in Texas. I have submitted the paperwork but am not sure how long it will take for it to come.
 
I also have already received the check. They were responsive and when they wanted a change in my application emailed quickly to ask for it and replied that they had received it.
 
I sent my rebate application about a month ago. How long should it take? What's a good email to inquire about the status of one's application?

I submitted mine 6/15/18 and received check 8/13, if that helps. Don't really have a contact email.
 
FYI, this rebate applies even if you purchased your Clarity prior to June in Texas. As long as you purchased from a Texas dealer you qualify for the rebate.
