Look closely at the OEM mats. They do not cover the left dead pedal foot rest. All that water, mud, snow will run down the foot rest and under the OEM mat. Most of the aftermarket brands cover this foot rest partially or completely. Plus, the 3DMaxpider is cheaper. Only $71 for the front pair.
Yes, it was the dead-pedal coverage that caused me to switch from the OEM winter floor mats to the 3dMaxpider front mats. After each of the first 2 winters, it took significant work to remove the dried salt from the undercarpet at the base of the dead pedal. I still use the OEM winter floor mats for the rear. Even though they don't cover the center hump, I never carry 3 passengers back there. It's easy to remove the large logos from the 3DMaxpider mats by popping off the press-on connectors on the underside. I don't notice the texture-less area that remains after the logos are removed.

I bought these floor mats for my Model S and really love them. They're beautiful (at least as beautiful as a set of floor mats can be ;)) and easy to clean. In looking at mats for the Clarity, our choices are limited. I had hoped that 3D MAXpider made them for the Clarity, but no such luck.

However they do make them for the Honda Accord. Does anyone know if the floor area in the Accord is similar to that of the Clarity? Perhaps these would fit?

I have been looking for an alternative for a while. Here is a great solution I found:

It has color options too.
