First ID OTA software update coming.

Apparently a lot of people were under NDA - until now. A set of "First Movers" will get the update - probably later this week, and they will use this to make sure that the deployment is smooth before attempting to roll out to a larger group. The claim is that the rest of us won't get it until September.

I just bought my ID4 last week. It has version software version 792. Should I take it in and get a an update now, or just wait until September and get the 2.1 update?

I would wait until Sept. If you took your car in now, they might not even be able to give anything to you.

Software version 0792 is 2.1.
2.3 (not sure of US version) should be released in US in the next month or two.
