These are hard to find these days, and MINI just included the rules of the road in the Summer 2021 newsletter. I'm posting these to share with everyone.

MINI RULES OF THE ROAD.

1. ALWAYS PARK NEXT TO ANOTHER MINI.
One MINI is great, but two? Now, that’s a party. ​
2. WAVE HELLO TO FELLOW MINI DRIVERS.
Friends don’t ignore friends. ​
3. GIVE YOUR MINI A NAME.
Treat it like family, teach it some tricks and show it some love. ​
4. NO TWO MINI SHOULD BE ALIKE
It’s an extension of your personality. Make yours as unique as you are. ​
5. TREAT SUV DRIVERS WITH COMPASSION.
They’ll never know that go-kart feeling. ​
6. PUT AWAY THE MIDDLE FINGER.
Lay off the horn, too. We’re lovers, not fighters. ​
7. EMBRACE THE MINI COMMUNITY.
Everyone is welcome here. We may be different, but we’re better together. ​
8. FIND A COPILOT WHO’S READY FOR ADVENTURE.
Human, kitten or canine, they should always be ready to ride. ​
9. ADMIRE YOUR MINI.
An over-the-shoulder glance as you walk away is perfectly normal. ​

Thank you compiling this information. This will be my first EV and first Mini. Never even driven a Mini, excited for its arrival. As of today it was Dispatched from Factory. I am assuming it will not be at the dealership for another 2-3 weeks due to shipping lanes being so busy.

Adding a different set of MINI Rules of the Road.

  1. ALWAYS PARK NEXT TO OTHER MINIS. THERE IS SAFETY IN NUMBERS. BACKING IN IS PREFERRED.
  2. WAVE AT OTHER MINIS.
  3. TREAT SUV DRIVERS WITH PITY-THEY COULD ROLL OVER AT ANY TIME!
  4. REALLY, WAVE AT OTHER MINIS!
  5. TAKE YOUR MINI TO MEET OTHER MINIS, KIND OF LIKE TAKING A DOG TO A DOG PARK. THEY NEED SOCIALIZATION.
  6. FIND FRIENDS TO HELP YOU MOD YOUR MINI.
  7. BE UNIQUE. NO TWO MINIS SHOULD BE ALIKE.
  8. ALLOW OTHER MINI DRIVERS TO MERGE WHENEVER POSSIBLE.
  9. CATCH UP WITH AND TAIL OTHER MINIS AND FOLLOW FOR AS LONG AS YOU CAN.
  10. TAKE YOUR MINI OUT FOR A SPIN AT EVERY OPPORTUNITY (EVEN WHEN IT'S TOTALLY UNNECESSARY)
  11. PLEASE WAVE BACK?!
  12. ACCELERATE WHEN APPROACHING CORNERS
  13. DO AT LEAST ONE COMPLETE CIRCLE OF A ROUNDABOUT BEFORE EXITING
  14. ADMIRE YOUR MINI IN SHOP WINDOW REFLECTIONS
  15. WASH YOUR MINI AT LEAST WEEKLY, EVEN IF IT'S RAINING
