Nice I spend a lot of time on my bike riding rail trails, for exercise and entertainment. This would be great... wait... what about that exercise part?

The JackRabbit is neat, and could be a handy support vehicle (like a tender for a boat?), but Electrek says it's technically an electric scooter since there are no pedals.

With electric torque, light weight, and that short wheelbase, the JackRabbit must be a wheelie-monster. Twenty-four pounds is very impressive, but that explains the 10-mile range.

I just bought the Thule Fastride bike rack and attached it to the OEM cross bars. It worked flawlessly, though I wish I had Thule bars so the install would look a little cleaner. The T-slot on the OEM bars is too large for the included T-bolts, so I had to use the bracket that goes around the whole bar instead. Not a huge deal.








I'm waiting for one more rack to get delivered. I'm not sure if the car is wide enough for two bikes facing the same direction, so I may have to point the second one toward the rear.

I've upgraded to a 70-pound (minus batteries) e-bike monster with 4" wide tires. I love the bike, but no way could I ever dream of mounting it on the roof with my SeaSucker Talon mount. The bike does fold, but I haven't tried fitting it into the back of my SE yet. I should do that.

(For the curious it's a Lectric eBikes XPremium.)

I finally tried loading my e-bike into the SE and it fit!
