EV6 Light Version

Does anyone have any insight as to when Kia might start shipping the Light version. I own a Niro EV now and don't really need the bigger battery. I'm in the US.

Hopefully, the lowest-priced EV6 won't be vaporware like the fabled $35K Tesla Model 3 (OK, a few people managed to get one with its software-impaired battery capacity). My question is, will the dealers add a smaller markup to the smaller-MSRP EV6 Light's price? It doesn't seem likely.
