The innovative direct-to-customer sale approach taken by EV pioneers like Tesla may change the way people buy their vehicles forever. I'm talking about is the death of the dealerships. And I am all for it!
Dealerships tend to be home to the lowest scum of the Earth. One major factor that keeps me from buying a new vehicle my fear of having to deal with the scum at the dealership. Every time I go to a dealership (and I rarely do), I'd have to take a long shower afterward. That includes service, parts, as well as sales department. They all lie and cheat and try to blow smoke up my ***. I have never had a good experience at a dealership.
As much as I would want to buy a Ford F-150 Lightning, I would not buy one because I would have to go through a dealership. And many of dealerships now pulling the good old shenanigans trick: they're adding huge ADM (Added Dealership Markup) to the MSRP of the trucks! Some dealerships even add as much as $30,000 to the price tag because of the high demands for the new electric F-150!

Ford should get rid of those sleazy dealership for EV customers. If Ford and all other EV manufacturers can or would be willing to do this, there would be a bigger boost in sales.
