EV battery life

I would only add:
  • Car reviewers often demonstrate "extra range" that is real for new cars. But after a year or so, that reserve disappears. I've had one battery tow due to excessive heat that forced the AC to run and I came up 1/2 mile short of the fast DC chargers.
  • With 5 years and 131,000 mi, my Tesla Model 3 Std Rng Plus is down to ~205-210 mi from the as new 240 mi range. But the increased number and quality of SuperChargers as well as adding CCS-1 kit means no practical effect of the reduced range.

Do Fox and the NY Post ever have anything good to say about EVs?
Probably not. I don’t read or watch those at all.

Actually I haven’t seen *any* mainstream media outlet offer articles on BEVs that are as fair and informative as this piece.
