Electric Car Clubs?

What exists out there for clubs and meet ups? I know Jennie found out about one local. Are they pretty informal at this point just connecting social media etc?

The Electric Auto Association / Silicon Valley Chapter is very active. I've never been to a meeting, since I live in Kansas... but I subscribe to their e-mail discussion list:

New England Electric Auto Association is fairly active. They've been around since 1965 and have at least one meet-up per month. Looks like the next one in MA might have an M3 on display.
