Wondering if anyone has had a similar experience as I'm currently having with my 2020 Mini SE.

Starting early summer I started getting intermittent "Drivetrain: Check Soon" errors. Typically they would reset on shutdown and disappear, reoccurring one drive every week or two. Car ran totally fine otherwise.

I took the car in to my local dealer in early September; they kept it for a day for troubleshooting, implemented the battery overheat recall software update, and sent me on my way.

Got a call back on October 1st, saying "Corporate needs your car to come back in ASAP" - no formal recall, no real explanation, just that they needed to do more work and troubleshooting on the HV battery.

As I write this it's October 28th, the local dealer knows basically nothing ("your car is up on the lift, the HV battery has been removed and disassembled, corporate is working on it"). The dealer states that my SE is one of two currently being worked over by "corporate" for extended diagnostic.

Luckily everything's been free of charge with a loaner provided so far - but the lack of information and lack of communication has been almost total. Just curious what might be going on, or why "corporate" needs to poke around in my HV battery for a month. (FWIW, my car isn't listed under the recent battery sealing recall...)

I was held hostage by a ChargePoint DCFC a few months back. No estop. 20 minutes on hold to get a human to remotely shut it off. My car already had a sticky HV error from another DCFC, so I dunno if this added one.

You can stop the charging from the car infotainment. The car has to be in accessory mode, then find the menu to control charging current etc. “End Charging” is somewhere in that menu.

Your "Drivetrain: Check Soon" issue seems linked to an ongoing investigation into your HV battery, likely due to safety or performance concerns, even without a formal recall
