driver side vertical light dead

I have checked fuses but couldn't find a fuse for the vertical lights.
Driver's side light does not come on. Anyone with any ideas?

There is certainly a fuse protecting that circuit, but it likely powers more than just one of the two DRLs, so your problem is not likely to be caused by a blown fuse. In 2022, @Landshark mentioned a problem like yours that required a complete new wiring harness. Hopefully, in your case it's just a corroded connector or a failed Daytime Running Light unit.

Here's a used left DRL on eBay for $198 + $20 shipping.

Thanks Insightman ... I have messaged the seller to see if he will ship here. - it could be a corroded connector
but probably not as the area is clean and dry. Cost of a new unit here is $795 Can - about $600 US ... discount
new price in US is about $400 but again shipping to Canada is an issue. Cheers

It's wierd. Shipping to the US from Canada seems to not be an issue at all. I have bought several items from Canada on Ebay that got here with the seller offering free or low priced shipping with no issues whatsoever and getting here pretty much as fast as something bought in the states...

follow-up... got light delivered just south of Can border - picked up no issues.. had my bodyshop people do the pull all the plugs to access the light... he was going to continue - but I said 'stop' lets try the replacement light.... didn't work. So then looked for the problem; one of the wires on the plug was broken... got it fixed and the plugs all pushed back in. So have a driver left side daytime running light - working - for sale!
(Glad i had it though; as it would have been a ***** to diagnose otherwise - still better than the $1200 dealer option!
