After watching the various install videos and reading the enclosed instructions I wanted to avoid removing the bumper facia.I being a hardcore Diy home mechanic have got an extensive hand tool collection.Skiping the procedure details the installation is now completed without removing the bumper facia without damages.The largest difficulty was choosing the various 1/2" drive extensions and backup wrenches to complete the high required torque values,removable of the bumper facia would have made that procedure easier.I,m resting up now. before installing the wiring kit. towing a 1600 pound camping trailer is my goal .
 
What year is your I5?

So you did install without removing bumper? The official Hyundai instructions for 2022-2024 do not have you remove the bumper. Did you do it in a manner similar to these instructions?

If you have a 2025 I5 what are you using for a wiring harness?
