It sure seems like basic aerodynamics is dictating one basic shape to achieve desired mileage figures in sedans. It’s not just those two - all sorts of Nissans, Toyotas, Hyundais, Kias and yes, other Hondas all look about the same if you just squint a little. Form follows function, after all.

But hey, only we have fender skirts, so there’s that!
