Comparing Model 3, BMW i3, and Model Y

I'm using the BMW i3-BEV for metrics as we have a BMW i3-REx:

I own a 2019 Model 3 and a 2014 BMW i3-REx, using BEV version for metrics:
  • Model 3 - Need to get roll-down metrics to determine if it was drag reduction. If drag reduction, it would be rolling resistance which we can tune.
  • BMW i3 - I've got some aerodynamic tuning tricks. Measure the aero flow behind the car and wheel wells. Then use cardboard frames and clear plastic sheet to test aero tuning.
  • Both - Apply lesson's learned and make 'kits'.
