Interesting video on "open source" Level 2 autonomous system: Adaptive cruise control, LKAS, etc... I like the driver monitor which makes sure you keep your eyes forward and pay attention to the road and AI learning capability. Your thoughts against the Clarity's? The hardware is about $1000 which is not bad.

Works better than stock Honda. It is not at all consumer friendly though, more of an experiment. People are building their own interfaces, etc.
They have alpha Clarity support. On cars with a nidec radar (Clarity), Honda's older system, comma supports ACC and LKAS. On newer Bosch radar systems it only supports LKAS and piggybacks on stock ACC.
Biggest limitation on most cars is the steering assist motor max torque and/or ECU limitations that prevent sharper turns, thus, for now, it's most useful on interstates/commuting.

In case you don't know, they only test their system on a fixed route (read that on a article on the verge when they test their system).... So yes it might look really good on the video but ymmv. Also they really are hacking into your car to make their system work.... Do you really want to pay $1k for someone to hack in to your car?

I'd personally love a hack to disable the "steering required" nag. No, I don't plan to take a nap whilst driving. I just get that nag even when I have a hand on the wheel. Also, even if I did fall asleep, that steering required is not going to wake me up anyway, so it's pretty much useless.
