Hi, wondering if there's anyone who can help me with this. I noticed that when I click on comfort climate and sit in my car while charging, the comfort climate will stop after half an hour. The only thing I have figured out to do to restart it is to get out of the car, pull out the charger, put the cap back on and close the charge port door. Then turn the car back on and off again to get the comfort climate check box. I can't find any option to keep comfort climate going for longer. First world problem I know, but wondering if anyone has advice.

Just leave the car on ("drive ready state") while charging. If you're not moving you won't use any more electricity than using the climate conditioning.

My car can't get into drive ready state while charging. The left needle stays down and doesn't get into ready while plugged in. Also notice that it's only fan blowing, not AC when I have car on during charging. The only way I can get AC during charging is with comfort climate.

I haven’t had any issues leaving the car on (or restarting it) while plugged in and charging. It won’t go into drive, but it definitely provides heat or A/C

When DC fast charging you just need to enable comfort climate in the settings of the Infotainment. No need to use the app to climatize.

I do wish there was not a 30 minute timer on it. I've activated it...leave it on until I say otherwise. :-)

I understand why there's a time limit, but let us see that limit and count-down in the app and give us a means of extending it.

My Mach-E is only 15-min, but it shows the countdown and you can extend it to 30min.

Not exactly the same question, but similar. The wife and I often run multiple errands in the SE. I always drive. I always run into whatever destination while Mrs. Jim in Tucson remains in the passenger seat. If I leave the SE running and exit the car the A/C goes off. Is there a way to leave the car on or the A/C on for the passenger’s benefit w/o a driver present?

If I get a seatbelt extender will that allow the SE to continue running with the driver’s door open? Tested and this seems to do the trick. Is this the best solution?

When you turn the SE off, there's an "activate climate control" option on the screen. That's what I use to keep the A/C running while I'm in the store. Another option is to use the seatbelt defeater like you said. Finally, you can turn on climatization from the app.

Powered on with the needle at off (accessory mode equivalent) does run the AC, you just need to push the AC button!

I’m happy to be old dud without yours problems to be not so sophisticated once I come from shopping I hit max AC and I’m good freezing myself in 3 minutes.

Both of those methods seem to be on a fairly short timer. The SE quickly became too warm and when I came out of the store wifey was standing in the hot sun and was quite unhappy!
