Child Booster Seats in the Back??

Good afternoon !

Does anyone have experience with backless booster seats in the back seat for a 5 and a 7 year old granddaughter?



I've seen several threads. This one in particular.

I suspect it will work for the short trips we take with the two of them but just looking for some recent experience.

I use this one for my son who is 6 and its permanently installed behind the passenger seat with the latch points.

My wife is 5'4" and with everyone in the car we fit comfortably for 30-45 minute trips. The main issue isn't leg room, its that his legs aren't long enough for his feet to fit under the front seat so that means if the front seat is too far back it forces his feet sideways if that makes sense.

No problems with comfort and have taken drives up to an hour and a half. I'm 6'1'', and do sit forward a bit, but I sit like that even when I'm alone.

Can confirm that they work great. My daughter is five and begs to take the mini every time we go somewhere. She usually uses a booster with a back, but the backless works too.
