I think the US versions don't have the radar box under the license plate and I don't know what it uses instead, perhaps the front camera. I don't believe I've seen this fault reported before.

As someone who's always driven SUVs, clearance was never an issue for me. Be extra, extra careful when pulling into parking spots with those cement parking blocks.

Apparently it involved a lot of damage, not just the underbody shield (which, online, only costs about 80 USD). If you ask me, this is a bad design if a scrape over a paring block causes this level of damage. I was advised by the dealer to notify my insurance company, so it'll cost me a 500 USD deductible.
This is the only picture I snapped before bringing it in. You can see how it got ripped open.
