Charging in the rain.

I've owned my SE for almost 1-1/2 years. The car is amazing but has one surprising design flaw. Considering this is a car born in rainy England, my charge port becomes a bird bath in rainy weather. It doesn't appear to have any weep holes that I can find. So I was wondering if anybody has used a device like this:

It does have a drain hole below the DC port but it is very small so it could get plugged.
