When I have my iPhone connected by usb the side screen that shows the current song doesn’t allow me to pause the music. When it’s connected by Bluetooth it does have a pause command. Is there another way to pause the music besides going to the media screen or the phone?

I think the mute button on the steering wheel might actually pause instead of mute. I'm not 100% sure since I don't use it regularly, but it continued the same song when I used it and I muted for a while.

Ok m also using Android Auto, so it might actually be different for you.
