CarPlay Gone

I just updated to the latest software, 2 strange things happened. First I got an email to register my car, its a 2020 and has been registered for 2 years. Second when I plugged my phone in carplay never came up and when I pressed media there was no cay play app, not even grayed out. Anyone else have this happen?

Problem solved. Enable apple carplay had been deselected under settings.

I don’t know if it’s the Nero side or my iphone, but sometimes CarPlay is a little bit flaky. Like it’ll fail to connect with the phone or if I switch menus (this one has to be on the Kia side) something goes funny with any sound produced by the phone. Sounds staticyuntil I disconnect and reconnect. Annoying, but livable

I also get the bad static sound pretty often when I plug in the iPhone and podcast resumes, I don't unplug but instead hit the "radio" button and then go back to the home icon on top left of screen and go to carplay again and resume the podcast again and then the sound is fine. Why it does that I don't know, but that's my normal workaround.
