Hi everyone,
My name is Jonny and I work for the long-standing British motoring TV show Fifth Gear.
This autumn, we're bringing back Series 2 of Fifth Gear Recharged, which is built on the success of the last series, which concentrated solely on vehicles with an electrical element, from mild hybrid to full EV.
Filming is well underway but we are in need of some help! We are keen to film an item all about 'second hand hybrids'. This is to help drivers out there who want to go electric, but a budget of £20,000++ for a new EV is way beyond their reach. However, for under £10,000 we believe there are still some really interesting, if slightly older, hybrids out there.
This is hopefully where you guys - the EV community - come in. We want to film 3 different hybrids, all valued at below £10,000, on the same day. We would need the car's owners to be willing to lend us the cars for the day to film and allow our presenter to drive each one in turn.
The date we are looking at is 29 June. Location TBC depending on availability. We would be able to cover all drivers expenses for the day, including travel and food.
