Any advice or options for dealing with cabin noises?

My mini has about 7,000 miles and it started having noises whenever I go over bumps.

It doesn’t seem to be a bad shock. Best guess is the drivers seat or the door paneling is causing the noise.

It’s not loud noises, just various squeaks and creaks.

Twice a year (at summer/winter tire changes for me) I clean the rubber door and window seals with diluted APC, wipe down with a wet clean rag, then apply Gummipflege. Seems to help quell a lot of noises that are difficult to localize.

I’ll give it a try!

What is APC?

Sorry. All Purpose Cleaner. I use whatever is around; LA's Totally Awesome from the dollar store really is totally awesome. It doesn't have to be a strong one. I think even Windex on a clean rag would be fine.

Word of warning, if you use Windex make sure it's the ammonia free version. Otherwise you'll likely ruin your window tint.

If you don't have tinted windows, go nuts.
