Anyone of the inmates up here have experience with the BMW C Evolution maxi-scooter? Good? Bad? Indifferent?

Thanks.

I decided to pass on the one I found. More cash that I want to spend on what is effectively a toy. Sub-100 mile range was the deal killer: I would need a charge just to do a round trip to my BMW dealer.

As an aside, BMW is supposedly bring some version of the Definition CE 04 concept to market, which I think looks pretty neat. No idea what the range will be, though.

I've seen a few reviews and seen people riding the C Evolution around town - it's a very nice vehicle for city driving.

Pros: smooth and quiet electric acceleration, no need to worry about gas or gearing, perfect for traffic jams.

Cons: still much larger than a regular scooter - harder to maneuver in heavy traffic, and charging requires a bit of planning, especially if there's no emergency in the yard.
