I check their careers page occasionally as a measure of actual progress on things vs reported progress. If you aren't hiring, you aren't expanding. Until a couple weeks ago there generally was half a dozen jobs maybe total listed in Buffalo. BUT...it would appear starting in August they are hiring substantially and there's shifts A,B,C, and D. I guess either ramping up solar roofs or ramping up Supercharger 3 assembly (Elon said that's where are are getting built). Check it out. Or perhaps solar panels, but that line of business seems to be suffering a slow death.
