bluelink failed to stop charging

Hi All

I have just bought a Kona electric and downloaded the bluelink app. i checked that it worked by turning on charging from my house and the car started charging (I currently use a 3 pin wall charger).
Last night I turned off charging using the app and it sent me a notification saying "success - charging cancelled".
When I got up in the morning it turned out it was still charging all night.
Is this app temperamental or am i doing something wrong?

It's a 2020.

I've realised that the light seems to go out when the door closes so that leaves me wondering why the light wasn't staying in more than a few seconds previously.

The bigger issue is why it's telling me it's done something when it hasn't.

Is it unreliable?

I would also check your car has the latest software version.
