I did this on my 2021 BMW 530e and it works great. The codes are slightly different on the Mini.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

This thread didn't elicit any Bimmercode solutions for changing the way the headlights work. Evidently, the headlight hardware on North American MINI Coopers is different from that of the European MINI Coopers.I did this on my 2021 BMW 530e and it works great. The matrix headlights are actually quite effective. I'd love to get them in my SE.Is to me so illusion what you try to do with a headlights they work or not why you play with this crab is any benefit of changing anything on factory setting?

I asked my service department about it right when the US law changed, but never got an answer back. I'll have to give it another go.Perhaps someone on this forum will obtain and install the adaptive headlight hardware. I wonder what it would cost?

Is a basic transportation for $30000 is not a Bentley and mirrors showing what you have to see on a roadI believe @Carsten Haase mentioned that the Euro-spec lights and side mirrors are better than what we get in the US, and might be plug & play. The lights show more of side of the road, and the mirrors have a wider field of view. Been meaning to research these more, but they are obviously not technically allowed by DOT code.
We should do an ‘ultimate mods’ thread since there are so many basic but meaningful mods for this car.
The mirrors are plug and play, part no. 51167366045KT worked for my ‘22. I put “euro” mirrors on all my cars, love that huge field of view.Euro-spec lights and side mirrors are better than what we get in the US, and might be plug & play.

Yeah just friction fit with 4 tabs I think. Heater wires and dimming connector behind there too. Mine were a little tight so I used a plastic pry tool to release it.I remember popping out conventional mirror glass on my mk4 Golf, these are the same? Just pop out the old and pop in the new? Friction fit?
From the photos on the ECS Tuning page it's basically the same as the process in the following BMW Euro mirror video (couldn't find a MINI F56 video), which also gives you an idea of how different the field of view is after being installed. I'm tempted to get these now as well.I remember popping out conventional mirror glass on my mk4 Golf, these are the same? Just pop out the old and pop in the new? Friction fit?
