Battery Pack Capacity

2020 Honda Clarity Plug-In Touring Edition

I am looking to purchase this vehicle with 45,000 kms. They completed a Battery Pack Capacity test and it came back at 48.3 Ah. Should I be concerned and reconsider the purchase or would you proceed?

The battery is one of the few things you shouldnt be worried about when buying a clarity, especially at 48 AH. I would still reconsider the purchase.

That doesn’t seem unusual for the car. I’ll guess you’re in Canada. Here in the US there is a Federal Emissions Warranty that covers the battery for 8-10 years or 100-150K miles.

I’d suggest that you spend some time reading through this forum to see that nearly every Clarity owner is or was pleased with the car during their time of ownership. Some posts must be taken with a grain of salt.

This is quite normal for a vehicle with 45K km
