I recommend reading today’s Autoline Daily, Monday August 23 about incompatibility of a Ford EV and systemic problem with a 3d party fast DC charging network. It is the tip of a much bigger problem. If a VW EV can’t charge at the VW charging network, non-Tesla EVs are in trouble.

Haven't read the article but all DC fast chargers are third party for Ford since Ford didn't build any DC fast chargers!? So you can't fast charge any Ford's?
 
Just read the article. Not sure which charging network they're taking about, but how bad is it that they don't know what charger is at which location? VERY embarrassing!

Thinking about it, shouldn't they be able to get a version dump via remote control or something?
 
My guess is there are 300 people involved in accessing, marketing and selling your personal info and 3 people involved in running the stupid 'selling electricity' part of the network

All this work creating apps and all that BS and all they had to do is put a chip card reader on the thing.
