2017 Audi A3 Sportback e-tron Battery Pack
· Total Ah capacity of HV Battery: 25Ah
· Modules: 8 Modules, each with 12 cells
· Chemistry: Not available
· Form: Not cylindrical; No additional information available
· Battery is produced for us by Sanyo
I asked about the new 37Ah packs which are being tested by both Audi and VW, but did not receive any reply. Replacing the OEM 25Ah modules with 37Ah would increase pack from 8.8kWh to 13.02kWh, effectively increasing range by ~50%. No word, other than an article in September 2016, that stated Audi was planning on making this upgrade. All reports have disappeared.
