Artemis is the milestone I've been waiting for: an actual Aptera with all the bells and whistles. Of course, some of the components will be still custom-made, but at least made out of aluminum rather than steel like Hermes includes.

Steve Fambro spoke the magic words in the video:
"While PI4, code-named Artemis, is being prepared for road-trips this summer...the full wire harness is scheduled for installation in PI4 next week. This marks the beginning of a fully-feature-complete, production-intent vehicle both inside and out. Every system you can expect on your Aptera--including the vision system, infotainment, climate-control--will be in this vehicle. We plan to do a road-trip across the U.S. this summer to meet Aptera reservation holders and supporters in person with this amazing vehicle."

I certainly attend one of the stops on their cross-country tour if it is near me--and if Aptera decides not keep their schedule a secret.

In tariffworld, it's too bad so much of an Aptera comes from other countries. How many people will pony up $80K for an Aptera? The tariff price-hit will also make it tougher to attract more investors. I hope the company didn't miss their window of opportunity.

Considering the difficulty they've had to date in finding sufficient funding, my guesstimate is that it will be another four years before they reach series production - so tariffs may no longer be an issue by that time.
