2022 SE side scuttle replacement

Need some help on this. I purchased replacement side scuttles only to find out that the connectors do not match. Basically I am replacing my LCI2 scuttles with LCI1 scuttles. I found out that the LCI1 scuttles have a bulb socket which the LCI2 doesn’t have. I thought the easy fix was to buy the bulb socket which I did but eventually found out that the sockets I bought fits the LCI1 scuttle but not the female connector of the car due to a couple of ridges that are placed differently inside the socket. Not sure if the bulb socket I bought was the right one (part# 63138382104). Any help/guidance is appreciated. Pics for reference.

I've been using these for the last 2 years without any problem.

I also recall it being tight but it works. You just have to push a little harder as the fit is tight.

Do you have a 2022 model?

I have a 21 model. Really, you just need to push a little harder and it goes right in.

I don’t think the connectors are the same for 2021 and 2022. I maybe wrong but this is the 2022 connector:

Oh, I remember now (after watching a YouTube video). You unplug the light bulb and the aftermarket connector plugs into the light bulb socket.
