I discovered this interesting document in our second SE.

“Note: Failure to maintain batteries as recommended and documented with this form will be considered sufficient cause to reject warranty claims.”

That’s interesting…
Clearly meant for the dealer and I wonder what it means for a future owner if (in the unlikely event) the car had sat on the lot for months before the customer bought it, and this lot was not maintained? Does the customer warranty get rejected?
Of course, given the cars are mostly pre-sold before they’re even built maybe it’s not an issue at this time…
 
"This form should be filled out when the vehicle is received and updated according to the proper procedure (display vs. storage vehicle). It should be placed in the vehicle history file when sold."

Probably the dealership would be on the hook for the warranty claim. It's really only every 4th Monday logged.
